A short while ago I stumbled across A Skateboard Soiree EP, a 2012 project from Booth newcomer Allday. While this may be the first time you’ve experience his feel-good, personable style, rest assured that he has been doing it big for quite awhile now. His first feature on our frontpage comes in the form of Girl In The Sun, a cut tailor-made for your upcoming summer playlist. With a genuine, fun style, Allday tells the story of his dream girl, who according to the Aussie, is even better than sliced bread. Ensuring that the record is found to be refreshing, producer Woodz’ beat features a slight whistle section that is placed under the acoustic guitar work of Brady James, who also lends his vocals to beach approved, insanely catchy chorus. As if the single release wasn’t enough, the 22-year-old has also released visuals that are as rejuvenating and delectable as the song itself. You can find Girl In The Sun on Allday’s Loners Are Cool EP, which will be released on April 5.
