Now that NYC native and hit-making songstress Alicia Keys has had her fair share of triumph, thanks to the Jeff Bhasker and Salaam Remi-produced single Girl On Fire, the singer has slowed things down a notch on her latest featured song off her forthcoming album. Not Even The King is a melodic love song which merely feature Keys on piano and this simple musical setup allows the listener to take in much more of Keys’ powerful lyrics. The song becomes most charming mid-way through as Grammy Award-winning artist pleasingly sings, “All the kings horses and all the kings men/ They came marching through/ They offered the world just to have what we got/ But I found the world in you.” Both Girl On Fire and Not Even The King will be featured on the singer’s fifth studio album, which is set for release on November 27.
