Unbelievably beautiful women have it rough—okay, not really, but when you’ve been approached by every fella in town, it’s easy to become a little jaded. On newly-released single Blow Your Mind, Ali Vegas walks up to a lady who thinks she’s heard it all and informs her that, given a chance, he’ll change her life. Sure enough, he offers a level of service few men would be able to match: if she wants to watch the Yankees play the Mets, he’ll pull some strings and have a game set up in no time, and if her neck’s a little sore, he’ll have an Aspirin flown in on a private jet (wait a second… wouldn’t that be slower than sending someone to the nearest drugstore?). Backed by All Star‘s bouncy R&B boardwork, this record has plenty of pop appeal, but it’s Kiss Me Thru The Phone singer Sammie‘s infectious hook vocals that push BYM into potential-hit territory. Whether you prefer this cut’s fluffy, roller-rink feel or the grittier vibe of previous features If I and It’s So Hard, you’re sure to find more to your liking on Generation Gap 2: The Prequel, due out on the 26th.

There was nothing that I did not like about the song.
Production - Solid. Hook - Great vocals from Sammie. Dude can sing a hook. Verses - Ali flowed pretty well over the production. In rotation. |

At first I was thinkin that it sounded like any other love track on the radio lately. The production and hook sound like a straight up radio track. Ali's flow was actually pretty nice, even tho the subject matter was way too cliche. I just liked the way his vocals and flow sounded on the track.

One hit feature and Sammie back. This is a good follow up to continue his buzz. Killed the hook on here with those vocals, and Vegas came through like usual. I like this guy more and more.

If I've ever heard an ALI VEGAS track that had the potential to break at radio, BLOW YOUR MIND is it! Sammie (mark my words) is the next in-demand (and on repeat) R&B hook singer this industry will ride until his wheels fall off.
All around an enjoyable listen.

I LOVE Sammie but he was just okay on this track. As for Ali V. though I wasn't feelin him really at all. I guess it's worth 2 stars though.

a feel good song sounds like something i would expect from prince in tha early 90s....sounds good because of the contrast over production...good concept however the song sounds like its missing sumthing idk but i like tha song...Sammie does a good job
