Even though he’s only 24-years-old, Ali Vegas has been victim to enough industry shenanigans, Cory Gunz and Jae Millz just counted their blessings. Following failed deals with Columbia and Casablanca Records (run by Mariah’s ex, Tommy Mottola), the Queens native is taking his career into his own hands with the help of L.A. Lakers star Lamar Odom and his label, Rich Soil Entertainment. For his new single, The Future, Ali hooks up with two DJBooth underground favorites, Termanology and producer Statik Selektah. Once again mixing classic-sounding beats with old-school samples (this time using Jay-Z‘s most recent album, American Gangster), Selektah makes Vegas’ future look brighter than ever.
...ok so my comment was cut off somehow =/ I said LMAO to those 2 up there. And I this song is hot. DJ Booth, keep putting REAL tracks like this on your site.
Crazy beat from Static Selektah. Great feature selection by Ali Vegas, because Termonology is the future! Ali holds his own on the track as well. Nice work. <br>
