Tomorrow, also known as “Grand Hustle Day,” marks the dual release of T.I.’s Paper Trail and Big Kuntry King’s My Turn To Eat (no, those were not paid plugs). While rapper Alfamega is undoubtedly happy for his label mates, the ATL newcomer will unfortunately have to wait several more weeks before getting the chance to truly celebrate. However, prior to his October 14 release date, the “Grand Hustle Muscle” will drop a remix (or ‘G-Mix’, as he refers to it) to his current Nitti-produced radio single, Uh Huh. With assistance from Rick Ross, Bun B, and The King himself, Alfamega proves he has the connections, but the few political jokes in his lone verse are what leave the lasting impression. Turns out the rest of fall 2008 might belong to Grand Hustle as well.
nice track. alfamega did a good job. but as usually T.I. ripped it I like how they broke the beat down for him. T.I. is in attack mode right now. but all in all good solid track.
I guess I can say Rick Ross and Bun-B slightly upgraded the original but not by much. I never really liked this song that much but dope beat i cant lie bout' that.
Original 2.5
Remix 3
solid track, liked it the first time i heard it, TIP's verse sold me, but i heard the original only once and only part way through i stopped cuz i didn like it, but this, in rotation.
I swear I've heard this rift somewhere. Does anyone remember this from another song? That best switch that compliments the king should be a song in itself. That bass is serious. I like this @*#$!!
Good remix, cant go wrong with Bun B. Did the album get pushed back to January because some sources are indicating that. Can anyone confirm cause I was looking forward to this release in 2 weeks.
to be honest.. ricky ros is gettin a lil boring.. every tyme thers a remix he's on it.. anybody out of florida he's with them on the video for a cameo or part of the song.. but da song ight not great
Great production even though a lil' repetitive. Alfamega, Rick Ross and Bun B did a good job, anyway there's something in this song which does not convince me...is it that a catchy hook is missin?! Maybe yes. In rotation
THIS IS A GOOD STREET RECORD ALFAMEGA IS HOLDING HIS OWN WIT HIP HOPS ELITE BUN B AND T.I MADE THIS SONG EVEN BETTER WIT THEIR PRESENCE ON IT I LIKE IT UH HUH!!!
this is cool...nice beat and like all the artists on this track. and i would usually say that i think rick ross needs to retire because his music sucks and there are so many better artists out there that are better than him, BUT on this track,....he was actually good. banga ya digg??! HA
The intro to the production made me think that the beat was going to come in a little harder. It still came in decent. Rick Ross' energy was decent. I really haven't been a fan of Alfamega. Lyrically, his flow is a tad simple on this track. Bun B's flow was a little boring and didn't move me on here. I agree BDF44..I recognize this rift as well. I can't put my finger on it though. I like the switch-up on T.I.'s verse. He smashed it. I'm right in the middle of a full listen through of "Paper Trail". He's on beast mode! He really gave this track an upgrade. It's a two without T.I. With it, it's a 3. Without all the other rappers and only T.I, it's a 5. LOL
beat is great, lyrics are amazin, i usually dont really like rick ross, his voice just puts me off and he pronounces benz " beans" lol, but he doesnt mention benz so its all good, another amazin grand hustle production
