Nowadays, celebrities are going to rehab for every addiction imaginable. L.A. rapper Ak’Sent seeks to do the same on her new single, Losing Control, but claims to have only one obsession: getting the party started. The track sports a busy beat from producer Jukebox, who mashes jangling drums with thin sirens to create a unique sound over which Ak’Sent spits her fire. This dance-worthy number comes with a new project, fresh on the heels of a shelved album. After her last disc wasn’t released, Ak’Sent went the indie route, signing to a new imprint and prepping a forthcoming album, Gem-In-I. Due out on September 22, Gem-In-I looks to get the clubs bumping and have everyone Losing Control.

She's fine! aside from that she is not bad on the mic. This beat is energetic. I guess it'll work in the club. Not somethin I'd play on my own, but I can see it played in a club. I also see her modeling for Diddy soon. Take that, take that

Its club but not catchy. Matter of fact, I dont think I could catch my groove on the floor with this one. Nothing jumps out to me about this tune.

Good thing I looked to see who this was cus I thought it was Lil Mama sounds just like her but don't look like her. And that's not a bad thing I think they both fine. This may catch on on radio and in the clubs but I doubt it. She need to stand out more cus it seems like she has some skillz.

Female rappers are all the same, I can't distinguish one from another. I personally think girls are more suitable to sing than to rap! Anyway this song is awful, I love club songs but this is a shame.

If anyone remembers the song Aksent had with Beenie Man a couple years ago, this song sounds basically like a redo of that to make it a little better. The beat is really similar, and the whole construction of the track is comparable. This one is pretty hot though, it can make some moves in the clubs. Ill throw it in rotation at parties, 3/5.
