There’s nothing better than hearing a couple of talented regionmates showcase the full scope of their swagger in a fresh video single… Nah Mean?. If you’re feeling me on that one, then you’re guaranteed to appreciate A.J. Crew‘s latest promo single, a breezy, braggadocio-soaked jam featuring the lyrical stylings of a fellow Windy City mainstay. As usual, Crew provides his own production backdrop, flipping a kitschy, ‘50s-style throwback sample (anyone else get flashbacks to shopping in The Sims?) into a light, airy backdrop for bars highlighting the artist’s mic skills, sound system and prolific playerism. On the back, Kidz in the Hall spitter Naledge takes center stage for a bold and arrogant, paper-stacking guest 16. This joint is attached to Crew’s unscheduled new album, but for those who lack patience Homecoming, Part II, released this past May for free streaming and download in The DJBooth, is available now. Keep it locked for further details on the artist’s forthcoming The Reality of It All LP, which as yet lacks a solid drop date.

JKL11293 Tastemaker Total Ratings: 877	Rating: JKL11293's Top Rated Songs AJ Crew sounded too monotonous on this one. I feel like it conflicted with the beat. Naledge was the stand out on this to me. Solid flows by both though.
