It’s not too common that a triple threat (a singer, songwriter and producer) emerges on the music scene, but Adrian, an up-and-coming R&B crooner from the state of Washington, proves he’s a potential force to be reckoned with. The dynamically talented musician served as the writer and producer of several (if not all) the songs on his forthcoming debut album, State of the Art. On his new single Temptation, the 24-year-old Asylum Records signee sings of his struggle with resisting the seduction from a beautiful lady in the club (obviously not his girlfriend). It’s a familiar topic, but Adrian, with his strong vocals over a slightly upbeat tempo, gives it a fresh feel.
His style reminds me rnb from the late 90s to early 2000s. Kinda formulaic and story-esque. His voice reminds me of another artist, but I just can't quite put my finger on it. I like this track, it has a good groove to it and is actually kinda refreshing. I don't feel this has much club potential or much radio potential right now. If you're one to observe trends, just give Mariah's tracks a listen you can get a feel of what's 'hot' at the moment. I'm rather curious how he'll find his place amongst current artists right now, I guess we'll see...
The kid has made talent and can do it all. Unlike a lot of A-LIST stars, no names will be mentioned, Adrian is writing and producing most of his stuff. Watch out y'all.
this track is ight ..... don't realy look twards r&b but its actually is a good song .... in rot .... the song kinda needs an upbeat intro but other than that good
This is different...I like it! I'm really into r&b music, so every new type of song is welcomed! To me it's a banger, but later I could decide it to be a classic lol
ummm i thought this was pretty average. i thought it was getting better the more i listened too it, but nah, it stayed the same. not bad, but nothin special
im actually feelin this track...to me it kinda has a michael jackson mixed wit neyo feel to it...really...he's doin a good job wit some great vocals on tha track...straight banger...~
Ok. This young man is talented. I think he has a nice voice. The only component of the song that I dislike is the keyboard. I think it is overused--less synthesized keyboard and I would consider this as a banger.
WAIT A MIN?!?! am i getting a lil "dirty diana" type vibe off this?....
yall young-uns might not know about that classic Michael Jackson, its ok just google it
WOW!!! This is a real multi threat talented artist! His singing makes all the Chris Browns, J. Holydays and mostly Lloyd seem so immature (weak, in Lloyd’s case)! Amazing how a couple piano chords made a beat! But of course the bassline is always welcome ;) The melody is fresh, the bridge is AWESOME (once again, great production), like it stopped time… damn, it reminded me Michael Jackson for some reason (agree with you tyates, the way he sings the second "babe" was JTish).
This dude is pretty sick, if i didn't know any better i would think dis iz a new MJ hit, its different from chris breezy n other hit r&b hits, like this track, Adrian bout to explode, aint no about dat!!
This dude's voice is like ne-yo and lloyd rolled into one person with a tint of michael jackson. This song is cool but it doesn't really have radio potential. Sounds like a good track to include on an album tho. Wouldn't mind hearin more from this dude.
