Summer has made an early appearance in the Chi with some unseasonably warm, sunny weather these past couple of weeks. You won’t hear any complaints from me, but just in case it’s only a brief cameo, I’m definitely enjoying it while it lasts. Nothing sets off a sunny day like the perfect song that captures the essence of happiness one feels when those fast-moving molecules from the heavens touch your face. With muted horn samples looped to create an easy-going ambiance, Jamla duo Actual Proof’s new joint All The Way is THAT song. DMV R&B mainstay Raheem DeVaughn’s featured vocals on the hook compliment E. Jones’ nostalgic production perfectly, while Sundown and Enigma keep it breezy with their delivery. This might mess around and be the next Luchini for all we know – but it’s too soon to tell, for now. If you’re digging this, you can peep more from Actual Proof as early as next week when they release their album Black Boy Radio via DJBooth on March 27 as a follow-up to their acclaimed Still Hotter Than July album.

Good track. Like the true hip hop vibe I'm getting, reminds me of Talib Kweli with this jam. I'll ignore that Raheem is reminding me of Akon cause those two styles don't quite mix
