Since the title of his first single made those prone to wearing shades any time of the day (or night) familiar with the term “hatablockaz,” Acafool has been on the radar of Tampa’s underground audience, radio stations and record labels. He’s back with another crowd-pleaser, the anthemic She’s Ready. Fellow Floridian DJ Quest (of the Core DJs) provides the synth-orchestrated, club-thumping beat as Acafool demonstrate that he’s lyrically more than just a consummate clown. His upcoming LP, The Hotline, has no release date set.
i'm living in tampa. never heard of him but i've only lived here for 3 weeks lol but anyways the singer on the hook tone was too deep for this 2 stars coulda beena 3 if they had a different singer.
I like the synthy production and how it is glittery and feel good. However the hook is a little too reptitive. Lyrically it isn't bad, he's on point with the flow of the track, but he sounds too similar to cats thats out right now. He could blow up, since everybody jumps on these singles, that's all it takes to get people listening. Its a decent single that has a nice vibe, mostly due to production.
To me his voice is similar to that of Simon Webbe. Anyway I have to totally quote Reishm4, the chorus doesn't do justice for the rest of the song...the beat, the music, his flow, everything is my type but the chorus is too repetitive! I've understood she's ready, lol! To me it can be thrown in rotation
are you for freal?
who is the singer?
Is the singer the guy rappin? Because its really wack. This song just isnt doin it for me... i mean id listen to it in the club without much to say.. but never like in my ipod.
I was immediately turned off by the opening, than he kicked it into high gear and it sounded good than the chorus kicked in and i puked. Could have been a decent beat, but chorus just sucks.
