Having left Bad Boy South Dirty South legends 8Ball & MJG will be releasing their upcoming eighth studio album under their new label home, Grand Hustle. Since T.I.‘s tied up with that federal prison term for the time being, the remaining management is set to make a heavy push with the entire roster. Thus, we bring you the first buzz/street single from the Memphis icons’ currently-untitled Grand Hustle debut. As industry veterans, they’ve heard plenty of emcees spit baldfaced lies—if any such pretenders show up in their presence, however, Ball & G will simply join in with the rest of the crowd and Boo them offstage. With Tip leading the audience on his hook, in-house beatmaker C-Gutta once again showcases the label’s ability to serve up classic Southern whip-rattling production—since that’s the type of beat that’s brought Ball & G their biggest hits to date, Boo is an early indicator that the duo made the right choice in signing with Grand Hustle. We won’t know for sure, of course, till our readers have their final say.

I nice take on the hater theme. The production(dude who made shoulder lean/porn star) is really getting old. Those reverse dog bark sounds are in every song of his. However, I will be putting this on my ipod nonetheless.

This is a solid track. Good southern production and the hook is catchy. T.I. is good on the hook, but I also wish he would have dropped a verse. 8 Ball & MJG both have good flows on here. Four stars.

Interesting concept, but pretty corny at the same time. I was kinda feelin it tho. The production is nothin different, and they do use that same effect heard on "shoulda lean," but it was solid and worked well for the track. T.I. is perfect on the hook, 8 Ball's flow is crazy, and MJG holds it down. Solid.

The first version of this record that hit the net had DJ drops all over. And as we all know, that is no way to enjoy the workings of some southern greats.
I hope Ball and JG don't get the backburner treatment with TIP going to prison for the year. Hopefully they can generate some buzz and at least release a few official singles while he is gone. Solid record.

The production aint all that as it resembles Shoulder Lean too much. T.I. brings a hot hook and 8Ball and MJG alright. Decent song...

its alright, though I dont see me playing it in my rotation. 8Ball & MJG were decent & the production was pretty good, though I was hoping T.I. would drop a verse as well as the hook.

Grand Hustle will be a good look for Ball & MJG. I never felt that Diddy did them justice. This is a buzz/street single, so it definitely serves its purpose, and would be a great album-filler-type track. On a side note; hopefully Young Buck will be the next to sign with GH.

Agreed - Interesting Concept but i aint feelin the hook ... i mean that over-stretched BOOOOooo makes the whole experience more uncomfortable than anything.... with a different twist on the hook i might have rated dis a Banger ... but for now its OK

@ mmoore1127- I agree that it would be good to see Young Buck signing to GH, though 50 apparently wants T.I. to pay out a couple of $ (apparently a couple of million) to get Buck's services. |

OMG! Haven't heard a song like this in a very long time...I HATE IT! Not even T.I.'s name attached to it could save this track. I'm sorry, but the production is the most important part of any song...and this beat is s**t. Not good at all.

Wow i didnt know they signed with grand hustle. Good move on that. And this song hard as hell. I feel like this is a perfect song to listen to before a fight. C gutta added hood production and i like that he put a peice of "shoulder lean" into it. 8 and JG typical and T.i. aded a strong hook. Bang it.
