Today, we are proud to present the world premiere of one of the more notable collabos off 8Ball‘s forthcoming compilation album, 8Ball Presents: Memphis All-Stars.  On This Ain’t, the Southern legend teams up with longtime partner in rhyme MJG, 8Ways protégé Devius, Three 6 alumnus Juicy J, his big brother Project Pat, and the newest Hypnotize Minds signee, Yung D (previously heard on Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)) to expose all the fake thugs in the building.  Though longtime producer Trouble Styles’ beat might sound too lively for the subject matter, This Ain’t should still accomplish its mission of giving Memphis something to get down and ride to.  For more jams from Tennessee’s biggest city, pick up a copy of Memphis All-Stars when it hits store shelves and online retailers on February 24th.

the hook is kinda weak, but otherwise it's pretty tight. great for the clubs. kinda sounds like Super Mario Bros lol

Shouts to Brett for the exclusive! 8Ball and MJG are legends in this rap game. They 'put on' for their city before anybody even cared that Southern rap existed. I look forward to this album and them continuing to show why Memphis makes hits.

@donjonjon - Nice to see you back in the Booth!

The geto boys were already well known before Ball & G came on the scene, but I get what you;re saying.

As much as I love to hear 8-Ball, I gotta be honest and say the beat killed any chance of me liking this song. Too much of that bubble gum sound

WTF is up with that beat! I don't think it goes with the hook nor the lyrics, man that beat @*#$!' sucks. Haha and then the ending was even worse. This song was a joke.

First off in my experience of 8ball beats this beat almost seems to soft for his style. MJG still has that killer flow. This is still in the rotation though liking everything but maybe a beat change.

The production is really creative and it is different than what i expected i thought i was going to get a dirty south bass beat. Its definitely fresh but doesnt match with their lyrics. Nice listen i can throw it in rotation

I like the beat, but the hook is terrible. cant expect much more from memphis. Strongly influenced by Three 6. This one will bang in the Burbs for the fake thugs because of the beat. Not so good in the hood though.
