Love is a crazy piece of work and 88-Keys chronicles the foibles of history’s most lovable loser, Adam (as in the guy from the Bible), with this catchy collabo track called Fresh Rhymes & Videotape. Off the album The Death of Adam, 88-Keys flips a clever horn loop which gives this East-to-West Coast jewel shine. Featuring the hilarious rants of Dilated Peoples, Alchemist and Aceyalone – 88-Keys manages to continue to surprise people after his first single, Stay Up featuring Kanye West placed the rapper/producer’s name on the lips of many in the industry. As Death of Adam continues to gain steam, DJBooth advises true heads out there that used to love H.E.R. to learn from the losses of Adam and keep it moving.

88-Keys has been tearing up my inbox lately. When I see an e-mail from his label, it goes straight into my priority bin. And this is why... I don't know if I would have added the term 'anthem' to the back end of this title, but the performances were all solid.
