50 Cent is back again, with another ‘new’ single, off the September-bound Curtis. After the previously released singles Fully Loaded Clip and Amusement Park failed to take off at radio, Interscope brass encouraged Fif to push back the album. Plenty of A&R meetings later the public is greeted with I Get Money. Apex’ production has an old school hip hop feel, but 50 chooses once again to remind us all that he is rich. After an abysmal performance at the 2007 BET Awards and the insistent plugging of Vitamin Water at every opportunity, Curtis might self destruct before his third album drops.
