Apparently, Infamous/G-Unit affiliate 40 Glocc hasn’t listened to much Chamillionaire over the past year.  Otherwise, he would have noticed that his new buzz single, Streetz Won’t Let Me Down, is a carbon copy of Ultimate Victory‘s twice-remixed hit, Won’t Let You Down.  Producer Kane Beatz once again supplies the beat (albeit with a more eerie-than-epic sound), and Trey Songz gives the cut a real chance for success with a soulful hook.  Despite the two reputable contributions, Glocc also picks up a couple of previous unknowns (Yacc and Locie Loc) to assist his story about a commitment to the streets.  So, with a permanently borrowed concept, will Streetz Won’t Let Me Down make it?

The beat on this track is really nice and Trey Songs Chorus is good! The Beat is actually really good. I just wish they gave it to someone else besides 40 Glocc. I am not feeling his flow at all. It sounds like he is trying too hard sometimes and its just not real natural. I dunno...something is wrong.

The production worked the first time, as Burmy pointed out, on Chamillionaire's album. I wonder if Cham could sue Kane Beatz for sliding a beat/concept to 40 Glocc that has already been dunzo? With that said, is Trey Songz not becoming the Lil' Wayne of R&B??

The new, spooky-ish beat is nice, but it's nothing compared to Cham's own. 40 Glocc isn't really the strongest rapper, so the overall come out of the song wasn't a surprise. The last verse comes out so Texas, it's not funny.

not bad lads, not bad at all! bit slow, and 40 doesn't impress too too much, but Trey delivers as always.

I don't feel 40 Glocc at all. His two colleagues actually OUTPERFORMED him. The whistling is a great addition to this song. Trey is making big moves.

0_o 40 Glocc is unbelievably weak (horrible flow, no lyrics, no smart… but we already knew that from “Borrow you”)! The only reason this song is ok is because of Trey, if he wasn’t on it, it’d be straight garbage. But I'll only listen to the chorus again, to show some friends how good Trey is.

Not a fan of 40 Glocc and I don't think im am going to change anytime some time, even though im sure 40 Glocc is a "real nigga" and he won't let the streets down with his nine, he let this song down. Beat is ok and Trey Songz tried to save the song but there is no use.
