40 Cal - On My Sh*t ft. Sudaboss
Artist: 40 Cal
Producer: Los
Album: Mooga
Label: RBC RecordsGold Dust Media
Almost four months ago, rapper 40 Cal released his RBC Records debut, The Yellow Tape. Never content with cooling his heels in his native Harlem, the Dipset-turned-Skull Gang affiliate is already preparing a follow-up, entitled Mooga. Featuring protégé Sudaboss, Cal’s new single, On My Sh*t, is Diplomat-influenced and simile-filled talk of cash flow, bottle-popping, and expensive lawyers. Boardwork from producer Los, whose style gives On My Sh*t a true Northeast street anthem appeal, steals some of the spotlight, but something tells us 40 Cal’s market should find a lot to like about Mooga once it is released on August 5.

The Los production is pretty decent. I've never really been on the lookout for 40 Cal. He's okay on this track, but he's nothing special.

Love the beat. Lyrics are only mediocre, well, actually on the weak side. Beat sounds like something they'd use on entourage.
