The chorus to Pac’s Life, yet another postmortem single from Tupac Shakur, proves his music was made to span generations. “Everyone’s talking bout Pac’s life,” spits 2Pac as he exchanges chorus lines with Ashanti.
Though the beat is uncharacteristic of 2Pac’s style, it showcases the versatility of a man who recorded his vocals some ten plus years ago. Producer LT Hutton created the instrumental for this upbeat single which features ATL star and large fan of 2Pac himself, T.I. (and the previously mentioned Ashanti).
Pac’s Life, set for release on November 21st, will encompass nearly 100% of unreleased material from his gigantic library of acapella verses. Incredibly there still remains unheard material, despite 2Pac’s music career only lasting from the release of his debut album in 1991 through the time of his death in 1996.
