This past September marked the 11-year anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s (still unsolved) murder. Since his unfortunate demise there has been 17 albums (six studio, eleven compilation) released under his name, each a combination of previously heard or unheard material. Those numbers, which were calculated to include this December’s two-part release, The Best of Pac, are indicative of the highest-selling rap artist of all-time. The second disc of the release, Life, contains one of two never before heard songs: Dopefiend’s Diner. The record is Pac’s take on Suzanne Vega’s original, Tom’s Diner, and although it was recorded many years ago Pac is still able to breathe life into the currently diluted industry. The album release is clearly intended to make money, but it’s also a reminder of how much Pac is truly missed.

Oh My god! I can't believe there is a Pac song out there that I haven't heard yet. This is Soooooo Sick! He was the Best and will remain the BEST OF ALL TIME. No one touches the subjects that he has and no one ever had so much feeling and pain in their words like he has. He is truly one of a kind and the Best ever. This track is one of the most unique tracks of 07 and the track is 11 years old! Sick, sick , sick! Happy to see he's still killin it after all this time!

If some people don't like this track its because they are stuck in today's meaning of hip hop and not hip hop overall. His lyrics are sooooo crazy in this and his message is loud and clear. People are saying this don't sound like PAC, but if you go and download Makaveli 1 through 17, then you will see towards the end of his life he was very experimental trying to find the perfect mix to reach out to as many people as possible. Tupac would have wanted us to bring out all of these tracks and that's why he made like 50 tracks a week. He knew he was going to die and he knew that his music would live on...so the only thing he had left was the Music! Again, this is an excellent track and Tupac is the Greatest...we might never see another this good...
