When 2 Pistols’ slow jam, Lights Low, premiered in the Booth last month, our readers were overwhelmingly positive in their reviews, showering praise on Young Joe‘s hook as well as the emcee’s verses and production. Soon after it peaked at #9 on our Rap Chart, we found out that it was just the first half of a two-part anthem. Well, Part 2 has finally arrived. While 2P’s verses and Young Joe’s chorus are maintained, two major changes are made to attract a wider audience: Cool & Dre deliver a new beat that can best be described as “2P’s original on steroids,” and their Epidemic protégé, C-Ride, contributes a brand new verse on the back end. Though neither 2 Pistols’ Arrogant nor C-Ride’s The A-Rab Store have solid release dates as of yet, the potential success of this solid collabo could change things rather quickly.

i felt real dumb when i found out 2 pistols was ONE person. ah i know im late. anyway, i listened to this track earlier. im feelin the hook but not his verses. the beat is average. 2.5 stars

This is obviously a song that is driven by the production and the hook, which are both catchy and could be mainstream. The verses are just average and it would have been the same song with any number of different rappers on here. 2 Pistol's verses just dont do enough to keep my attention for long, and the verse by C-ride was jus a little better...

This is one of the worst Cool & Dre produced songs I've heard but that still dont make it bad because if you look at their resume..BANGERS!! The production is catchy but not really original. Hook is def. hot but never really feel 2 Pistols flow. Its good and works for these tracks but not much lyricism going on and he tends to say the same things song after song. This is still in rotation though

2P can ride a track real well. The production sounds like a leftover meal. It was good the first time around, but not as tasty for seconds. C-Ride was disappointing and Joe's hook contributions were unchanged from the original, so no comment there. Still in rotation...
Let's see the comments pick up, people! Those who leave feedback/ratings and interact on a regular basis are going to have a nice surprise pretty soon.

:s I hate seein Pistols getting so many good beats (even his own) and not doing them justice…
I’m surprised Cool&Dre; are not getting props for turning the original on steroids (that’s definitely the best description), I think they did a great job, even turning this into a 3*. The lack of interesting lyrics were an original 2*. |

2P is alot better then a good majority of people think he is & this track proved it. You cannot say that the beat carried him in this because i thought it was a one of the worst production that Cool & Dre have came out with.

always thought that after "she got it" we would never heard again something from this dude... glad to see that i was wrong. beat is solid and 2p knows how to sound good on a decent beat saying basically nothing. this is solid. (c ride could've been left out of the track...)
