For those of you keeping track of the race to see who will emerge as Tampa Bay’s first major artist, we’re proud to announce a winner. Partially thanks to the underground success of his T-Pain-assisted She Got It (currently #1 on the Booth’s underground charts), rapper 2 Pistols has inked a deal with mid-major label, Universal Republic. Fortunate to have the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League trio as in-house producers, Pistols recruits one of their better-known clients, Young Jeezy (Don’t Get Caught, Bury Me A G), and slaps him on the new street single, Closed Eyes. While most of the releases courtesy of Universal Republic have sold poorly, 2 Pistols could easily break the cycle.
yo im really feelin this track...its got a nice hook to it...but idk bout tha verses...i wuznt givin it my full attention...kinda multi-taskin over here...~
It is perfect that he has Young Jeezy on this album with him because it sounds like he is trying to copy his flow exactly. And I said it before, that flow is cool, but they don't be sayin a damn thing!!! I mean listen to him say "those indictment papers, Hope you want my autograph" WEAK! "I'm so hot i think I need a thermostat" Again Super WEAK!
Jeezy used that radiator line in another song.....Jeezy do talk a whole lot of nothing...but he do it better than alot of other rappers(think Paul Wall)....you cant put this out after "She got it" but then again wht is "She got it" without T-Pain???????
Wow, an overwhelmingly poor response. One day an artist is on top, the next day he is right back at the bottom of the bucket. Don't worry people, this isn't going to radio. So if you don't like it, you won't have to hear it over and over.
It aint that bad. I luv the downsouth hip hop scene. Mostly because I like to dance and Hip hop up north is to serious and personal. Buh neway a lot people think down souf rappers disrespect hip hop buh the more i pay attention the lil artist who come out with club hits and dance songs are bedda lyricist than those who try and infulence their lyrical skillz in the first place so fo me I give it an- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (just like jeezy)
he's weak. won't listen to another song he makes. you can tell he's weak because his verse was deleted on the young jeezy's "ice cream man" mixtape. (go get it)
i am really not feeling this one. i do not feel a lot these 1 track artists. the flow is just like the one of young jezzy who ft on the track.please can this industry start selecting what goes into the market.
B4 U people rate dis, jus close ur eyes and bang ur heads and imagine urself in a Lambo. People can't b rating dis under a 3- it's bangin! (o, and don't think about how much u might hate him.)
