2 Chainz (also known as Tity Boi of Playaz Circle) brings on the man whose name is on the tongues of hip-hop fans everywhere, T.I., for a straight-out-of-prison remix of Spend It. With a banger of a Drumma Boy beat that’s not exactly the kind of production people get addicted to but should still rattle some trunks, the remix preserves that Dirty South sound that so many people enjoy; there’s no deeper meaning here than the title might suggest. In fact, considering it won’t land on any larger project, this track is notable primarily because it gives us a chance to see if TIP sounds better or worse after his latest prison stint; well does he? Regardless, simply working with T.I. should bring in some new fans for Drumma Boy and Chainz, either because they earnestly enjoy the track or are simply impressed at the caliber of collaboration.
