Kind of hard to start a Riot when you’re all by your lonesome, huh? On the official remix of his early-April single, 2 Chainz corrects that omission, inviting 50 Cent to join him over DJ Spinz’ ominous street boardwork. Is the addition of the G-Unit head honcho an upgrade over the cut’s previous incarnation? If so, you can find the remix on Fitty’s forthcoming Gangsta Grillz street album, The Lost Tape (out May 15). The original version of Riot will, of course, be found on Chainz’ Def Jam solo debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story, dropping August 14. Those who haven’t already can click here to check out Chainz’ Drizzy-assisted single/video, No Lie.

I am interested (though we will never know) to know what people would be saying if 50 came out with a record like this himself... just something to think about.
