Star

Radio and Records, Inc. has reported that Star, aka Troi Torain, from the syndicated Star and Buckwild Morning Show has been fired due to controversial statements made on air regarding DJ Envy from Hot 97. According to the report, Clear Channel made anannouncement this afternoon that they decided to fire Star and suspend all Members of the Star and Buckwild morning show due to "wholly unnaceptable" comments made towards DJ Envy's daughter.

Anyone that listens to the show knows Star & DJ Envy have been trading insluts andit looks like Star went too far supposedly making thretening and sexually charged remarks towards Envy's daughter. Apparently this didnt site well with a listener who complained to Clear Channel, promting their response this afternoon.

According to R&R, Star is gone and all members of the show are suspended until further notice. Most likely forever because Star was the spark that gave the show life and I don't see them putting on the show without him. The individual stations (Power 105 in NY for example) will have to replace the Star & Buckwild show with their own programming.
