WARREN, N.J., -- Virgin Mobile USA has added Gangsta rap's legendary father, Snoop Dogg, to its exclusive First Dibs ringtone program. Virgin Mobile and Geffen Records are offering Virgin Mobile's more than 4.6 million customers ringtones from Snoop Dogg's latest album, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment, in stores now.

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment is Snoop Dogg's eighth solo album to date and has been well received by music critics who call it his best musical body of work since the classic album debut in 1993. The Doggystyle/Geffen Records release sees the rapper-producer-actor-entrepreneur-coach-husband-father reconnecting with the man who put him in the game, production wizard Dr. Dre, with three songs from this dynamic duo.

Available exclusively to Virgin Mobile customers are three instrumental ringtones from the album: "That's That," "Vato" (instrumental beat), and "Vato" (instrumental hook). In addition, Virgin Mobile customers will be able to download a variety of Snoop Dogg content including more than 20 ringtones from his new album including "Candy (Like Water)," eight voice tones including sound bites of Snoop Dogg himself, and catalog ringtones from previous hot Snoop albums including "Drop It Like It's Hot" and "Let's Get Blown." Virgin Mobile's "First Dibs" program lets customers download Snoop Dogg content by visiting http://www.virginmobileusa.com/ or at VirginXL or VirginXtras from any Virgin Mobile Superphonic ringtone-capable handset including the Slice and Cyclops.
