Scarface: “White Boys Are Punishing The Rap Game”

Scarface

Houston, TX -- Veteran emcee Scarface is clearly ready to change things up. The Houston native recently released his ninth studio album, Emeritus, which he has stated will be his last release under his current moniker, and in a new interview with Yo! Raps, 'face goes into more detail about his gripes with the music industry, explaining how they ultimately led to this decision.

Among other complaints, the emcee claims that fake, "ring tone" rap is wreaking havoc on urban radio, and that the "white boys" running the industry are largely responsible for the lack of substance in today's mainstream hip hop. He also reveals that, though he is retiring as Scarface, he's far from finished with the game; in regard to his future plans, he says, "I'm going to make some great music, though. I get a chance to play my guitar, pick my band, and put my horn section together."
