Rick Ross Gives to Charity, Hangs Out All Day
WHO: Rick Ross Charities and Magic Johnson's Burger King Restaurants to Present, The 1st Annual Rick Ross Be Out Day. With the youth of his community in mind, multi-platinum hip-hop artist Rick Ross (Slip N' Slide Records/Def Jam Recordings) is adamant about giving back to his community.
WHAT: "Rick Ross Be Out Day," is designed to encourage and prepare students for the upcoming school year by supplying them with school supplies – backpacks, pencils, pens, etc. Sponsored giveaways (while supplies last) are also a pivotal part of the extravaganza. The Miami-based rapper, and Carol City, Florida native, aims to give back to Miami's youth with education on the forefront. The event will be hosted by WEDR 99 Jamz's DJ Khaled, with an anticipated attendance well over 1500. There will be activities and numerous giveaways for the kids in an atmosphere that signals fun and safety.
