The DJBooth was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the upcoming documentary Demos, and whether you're an independent artist or a lover of independent music, it's a must see. Narrated by Skyzoo and featuring appearances from Talib Kweli, Black Thought, DJ Quik and a host more, Demos brings new light to the countless artists who have found success outside of the major label system, but also to the ways in which they have created that success.
Created by Kareem Fort, Demos will be simulcast across several digital platforms on May 22. in the meantime, check out the trailer below, and keep an eye out for DEMOS: The Web Series, a ten-week long collection of outtakes and interviews from the film, set to launch in late February.
