New York, NY -- MTV names R&B/Hip-Pop Trio The D.E.Y.(TheDEY.Com)as premiere “Discover & Download” Artists. “Give You The World” (produced by JR Rotem-Rihanna/Britney) video hits Big 10 heavy rotation just weeks after MTV premiere. Entertainment Weekly named The D.E.Y. Top 10 for 2008 with their Sultry R&B vocals over sabroso hip-pop beats. The D.E.Y. has officially arrived armed with a strong sonic palette & conscious message, ushering in a new era in the bi-lingual movement to R&B/Hip Hop fans.

Adding more fire Sean Kingston’s “Nothin” featuring The D.E.Y. is working radio with the video to hit this February. Signed to Epic Records and represented by Violator Management, The D.E.Y.—comprised of singer Élan Luz Rivera and MCs Divine and Yeyo— who hits CW11’s “ Spotlight On” January 14th is earning fast buzz and heavy rotation on English- and Spanish-language radio building major anticipation towards the April 2008 release of their debut album, The D.E.Y. Has Come.

The album which looks to join the Latin, pop & urban markets with its eclectic debut boasts A-list production from studio wizards Timbaland, JR Rotem and Stargate. The trio celebrated its arrival on the musical landscape with a highly anticipated performance at downtown New York hotspot Socialista on Tuesday, July 17, and another special appearance at the New York International Latino Film Festival at the China Club on Tuesday, July 24th.

“When The D.E.Y. first took off, our mission was to create a musical fusion of the different sounds and cultures we grew up with and bring it to a new generation of fans who share our experiences.” said The D.E.Y. member Elan, “We can’t wait to show the people how we represent that vision and passion to the fullest on this album.”

Hot tracks, a conscious message and radio-ready jams reflect the trio’s diverse roots. From the infectious, dance club sing-along hook on the Timbaland-produced “Get The Feeling,” to the mournful track “ Que Vamos a Hacer?” which addresses political corruption, the harrowing proliferation of violence & racial profiling which coerce hopelessness & lost trust amongst a people’s government, The D.E.Y.’s debut LP gives new life to the term fusion.
