Q-Tip for President

New York, NY -- By now, we're all aware of who our new President Elect is. On a newly-released freestyle, "Q-Tip for President," Q-Tip, who just yesterday released his latest album, The Renaissance. gives his take on the election over an Obama-sampling beat by legendary remixer J. Period.

The Q-Tip/J. Period ticket is far from through, though; the two have just announced that they will be collaborating on the next entry in J's Best Of remix series. Featuring an all-star cabinet composed of Native Tongues collaborators like Questlove, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, Consequence and Black Thought, the project seeks to celebrate Tip's many contributions to hip hop. and will be available for free download at www.jperiod.com.
