Independent Music Stores Nationwide to Join Forces for April 18 “Record Store Day” Event

On Saturday, April 18th, hundreds of independently-owned music stores across the country will link together to celebrate the unique place that they occupy both in their local communities and nationally.
Several Universal Music Group artists and labels, including The Killers, Def Jam 25, BB King, Queen, Sublime, and Whiskeytown, will be releasing special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products exclusively for Record Store Day. Festivities at the stores will include live performances, cookouts, body painting, meet & greets with artists, parades, DJ sets, and more!
