Los Angeles, CA -- TANK the Messiah of R&B is set to bring the sexy back into love music. His junior album release “Sex, Love, & Pain” is nominated for Best R&B Album contending with Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Chaka Khan, and Ledisi. He is also nominated for Best Male R&B Vocals for his hit single “Please Don’t Go” going head-to-head with Ne-Yo, Musiq Soulchild, Prince and Raheem DeVaughn. “Just to be nominated amongst great artists such as Prince and Jill Scott is an honor, if I win, it’s like a dream come true!” explains TANK.

TANK is most recognized for his writing and producing accolades for Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Tyrese and Omarion just to name a few. In addition to making hit records for other artists, TANK’s most notable record to date is his 2001 single release “Maybe I Deserve”. In the words of one of his most esteemed colleagues, “I’ve been hot and not hot before. It’s just a matter of getting back on the horse and riding out again. You gotta do R&B. TANK is the reason I’m coming back!,” says Jamie Foxx.

To celebrate his two nominations, TANK is hosting a Pre-Grammy Party at Area on Thursday February 7th, 2008. “I want to kick off the Grammy week with a sexy event and have a place where my family, friends and fans can toast to making good music,” says TANK.
