Top Hip Hop & R&B Chart for December 21, 2009

Welcome to the Booth’s recently-expanded Top Hip Hop and R&B Chart! As always, your feedback has determined which songs made the cut. Each chart’s lineup is calculated using a special DJBooth.net Formula that takes into account member ratings and reviews as well as features’ overall popularity.

The Young Money crew’s latest single, “Bed Rock,” climbs to #1 this week, ending Luda‘s lengthy stay in the top spot with “How Low (Can You Go).” “Drop the World,” the new, Eminem-assisted single off Weezy‘s long-delayed Rebirth LP, debuts at #4. Two remixes graduate from last week’s R&B Chart to become Top Picks: Ester Dean‘s latest version of “Drop It Low” (ft. Lil Wayne) takes #14, and Trey Songz’ official remix of “I Invented Sex” (ft. R. Kelly & Keri Hilson) claims #5. Another Wayne collabo, Young Jeezy‘s “Scared Money,” makes the jump from last week’s Rap Chart to grab sixth place.

Following this week’s update, our charts will be on hiatus until January 11, 2010.
