Cali repper Uptown Swuite (one-half of The Seed) has hooked up with DJBooth.net and Live at the Dojo to bring listeners his latest street album, Church Street Blues.
The project features 16 original cuts and mixtape freestyles from the up-and-comer, including previously-featured, Booth-premiered leaks “When I Die,” “Encore” and “Southside.”
Joining Uptown Swuite throughout the project are Ant Chedda, R-Cade, Ganxsta Ridd and Pistallion. Original production comes courtesy of DJ Flow, FourFive and Usef Dinero.

This dude's flow is on point. You can tell from track number one he is on a level that keep him a step ahead. I don't know how it was for everyone else coming up, but I grew up in Chicago and never heard anyone commending Westcoast rhymers for intellectual content. It's definately there, now more than ever. The Westcoast has a lot to say. This album gets it's own playlist on my Ipod. I'll rock it.

this album is incredible. if you're already a fan of Uptown, you get the epitome of the style and realness you've come to love. if you're just hearing about him, this is the album to check. the instrumentals are great and help keep the melo but serious feel of the album which compliment the down to earth, introspective subject matter of Swuite's lyrics. The lyrics are delivered flawlessly, which if you're a newcomer is reminisant of xzibit's gruff voice with Nas's rapid, yet smooth flow. treat yourself, and grab this. wether youre a hip hop head, a thug in the struggle, or and average joe, you will find something to relate to in every song.

everyday we come across a lot of gifted rappers who deserve to be heard, but its so rare to come across an emcee who formulates at this level. KRS ONE would definitely trip offf uptown swuite! lol...and hes from the west coast bay area too?...just speechless....
