Back together after a brief hiatus, Chicago-based trio The Gent$ (Pugs Atomz, Ill Legit and Wes Restless) have linked up with online tastemakers DJBooth.net to release their sophomore street album, High Profile.
This 12-song collection is filled with sophisticated tales of success, women and the nightlife. Featured on the project are DJBooth-premiered, reader-approved leaks “Awards Tour,” “Ice Cream” and “Snake Skin Tie.”
In addition to production by group member Wes Restless, High Profile includes beats by Vanysh, Simple X, Anton Genius and more. The Windy City’s own Awdazcate makes the sole guest appearance.

AWARD TOUR STILL MY FAVE SONG ON THIS ALBUM.
royal flush is straight but it dont bang hard its just leading you into the rest of the album. its more mello and laid back......whcih actually explains this whole album wich is laid back even with the more uptempo beat of track 10 "right on time remix" this was a pretty good album 3 spins its in rotation |

This album really chill. I dig all of the beats they rock. I like the R&B style that Right On Time Remix has to it. I really thike the rhymes and flow in Royal Flush its definately an example of their own unique flow. But the beat and the whole vibe on Ice Cream is amazing! I'd have to say its my favorite on the album but overall a rockin album!

This album is pretty consistent. It has a mellow sound to nearly all the song and really good to just chill out to. Good production on each and every song definitely worth the download.

I didn't really feel the mixtape...sorry :(. Even though the members liked Ice cream the most, it feel a bit mediocre for me.

yo wuts wit all the mediocre reviews...album was really versatile (ranging from the r-kelly-like 'snake skin tie' to the futuristic funky 'ice cream' joint). The hooks were especially well crafted in all the songs and this was grown man rap...yungens don't appreciate

Solid feel most of the way.......i had to download half of this on first listen. Never heard of these guys but seems like i'm bout to be hearing more bout em in the near future. #'S 1 2 5 10 & 11 CHECK
