I’m pretty tired, so I ain’t gonna write too much, just that I’ve been looking forward to hearing this for a while now. Smoke DZA’s leaks have definitely impressed me. So, yea, will be listening to this in the AM for sure.

I gotta say that this is a real solid release. Out of 15 or so tracks there are only 2-3 that are subpar and the rest are fire. Smoke really lives up to his name as the best tracks that work here are the ones where he spits over a smoked-out downtempo beat. SlumDog is a standout and a nice way to cap off the album.

Tight work. Woulda liked to hear more from his old partner Numbers on the album and maybe a verse from his other cinematic label mates Question and Lil Cali. but Overall, no complaints

On the whole the Mixtape is nicely composed, and to the credit of Smoke DZA, and the other contributors, the project does prove to be quite a fun listen, although it runs a little thin in the originality stakes. The instant thrills come in shorter spurts, but "Substance Abuse" rewards are nonetheless enjoyable and long lasting.

There are a few so-so tracks, but for the majority of this mixtape, though, Smoke DZA and company have synced up to create some well-produced bangers and laid-back sizzlers.

There are high points, low points and points where I just wasn't interested that much... Overall a strong 3 outta 5.

My Top Picks:

1. Rich Life Poor Life
2. Remember Those Days
3. Watch Me
4. Highway
5. Just Another Day
6. Slumdog Millionaire
