Up-and-coming rhymesayer Phresh James has joined forces with The DJBooth to bring fans his latest street release, the Universal Lve Period mixtape.
Mixed by Bodega Creative Co. and Rem and Executive Produced by Mark Maturah, Lino Martinez, Brian Ramirez and James himself, the project features 13 original tracks (plus one bonus cut) from the Panhandle State representative. Included are prviously-leaked, reader-approved cuts “The Wave,” “Lonely,” “Wanderlust” and “IDC (Remix).”
Joining James on the guest tip throughout Universal Lve Period are Gaby Duran, J NICS, Lil Champ, QuESt, Steven A Clark, The GTW. Additional production comes courtesy of DJ Semaj, Mr. Manuvers, The GTW and ZIPTOPHER.

I don't understand why this guy's unsigned.
I'd like to watch Phresh continue to grow lyrically and evolve as an artist. But he certainly has talent that should be cultivated and signed I think. 3.5 stars |
