Been curious to see what the #dested boys would come up with, so here's my 2 cents:

Where it was good:
Great ambience; a pretty solid selection of production overall; Most of the points here are won on originality; Solid guest verses from Skeme and Kendrick; When the hooks are on, they really work (see #5-8 & 14); The more single type tracks are interesting and provide a look into the younger LA's brand of fun; Interesting melodies throughout

Where it was EHH: It takes until around the time "It Girl" starts to really get into the project (outside of Skeme's verse); Too much time spent on the build-in; One glaring concern is the impact Kent has on the tracks over the rest of the Doz; Nothing from the other members really caught my ear, and Kent's vocals, verses, and hooks make me almost want to tell him to go solo with the same production (no offense); Really expected more from Dom; Sounding a bit too much like Drake in terms of cadence and subject matter; Ending was a bit lackluster for me.

OVERALL: I'll say a solid 3.2 and an "In Rotation" star rating; certainly good for a vibe out session in the car driving through LA County; I would definitely find myself skipping around a lot, but appreciating the gems on there

Key Tracks: It Girl, Dested, December, Pasadena, You Got Me @*#$! Up

This tape is simply amazing, through & through. It's a very eclectic project and a much needed break from the usual. A fresh breath of air, if you will.
