Atlanta buzzmaker Muzi has joined forces with DJBooth.net to bring listeners his debut street release, Somnolence.
Presented by beatsmith Shoden!1, the project finds the currently-unsigned singer/songwriter showcasing his uniquely soulful blend of ‘90’s influences and modern sound in 14 original tracks. Included on the project are reader-approved leaks “Factor,” “Dear Heartbeat” and “Cold Machine.”
Joining Muzi on the guest tip throughout Somnolence are Aleon Craft, Spree Wilson and Novel. In addition to the production of Shoden!1, the set features beats by Darkstar, James Blake and Radiohead.

A mixtape that will be on repeat for a long while. Every song is great. Muzi has restored my faith in R&B. My Top 5: Light Years, Secret Song, Dear Heartbeat, Factor & Amazing. All of them were great, though and the tape as a whole is worth a listen. 4.5 for me.
