Cali-based rhymesayer Metis has joined forces with The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest street release, The Roark Mixtape.
Hosted by DJ Whoo Kid, the project features 11 brand new cuts from the buzzmaking emcee. Included on the tracklist are reader-approved leaks “Get Them Up” and “The March,” as well as the DJBoothTV-featured “Minor, Major.”
Joining Metis on the guest tip throughout The Roark Mixtape are Skyzoo and Don Jaga. Beats come courtesy of !llmind, Redskull and IAM ONE.

 I had never heard of Metis before this project, but I am extremely happy that I gave it a listen. It is good to see a lot of quality artists gaining recognition this year.
