First in Flight State rhymesayer King Mez has come together with Life + Times and The DJBooth to bring fans his debut studio album, My Everlasting Zeal.
The follow-up to King’s Khrysis, his Booth-acclaimed mixtape with producer Khrysis, the project features 14 original records from the up-and-coming emcee. Included are reader-approved cuts “Monte Carlo,” “Reign” and “The Allure.”
Joining Mez on the guest tip throughout My Everlasting Zeal are Drey Skonie, Novakane, Sarah Kaboom, Carlitta Durand and Damaris Joi. Beats come courtesy of 11 20, Omen, J. Cole, Commissioner Gordon, Soundtrakk, Prolyfic, Face of 2 to the 3 and Mez himself.

First the surprisingly complete Paraplegics project, then The King's Khrysis, and now 50 minutes of deliberately placed rhyme schemes on ridiculously amazing beats. From the Intro to The Crown, Mez keeps reminding us that he's deserving of his throne, and motivates us all to keep working for our own.
Also... Mez is completely foolish for that H*A*M flip. |

Really clever lyrics on some great tunes. Monte Carlo,” “Reign” and “The Allure" are the standouts, but the whole mixtape sounds more like an album. He is on the way up for sure.

Flawless, from start to finish. The best thing I've heard since I first heard Lamar's 'Section.80'. Truly inspiring. King Mez, you make beautiful music my man, don't ever give up and keep on your grind homie!

easily one of my favourite artists, his versaitility is up there with the best. 'the stars' from paraplegics is one of the top 5 most played on my ipod, mad respect for Mez. I hope he keeps doing his thing, regardless of a record deal.

I have been listening to King Mez for 5 or 6 years now and he has only gotten better! This is clearly the best album of 2012, almost every single song is a banger. I'm real glad he's getting the credit he deserves, quality album, quality artist! Get him the money he deserves, not like these other idiots on the radio these days.
