Lazaretto Crew emcee King Mez and producer Commissioner Gordon have joined forces with DJBooth.net RedCarpetSoc, Missls, Fisdjfoto and Kevin Nottingham to bring fans their highly-anticipated collaborative street album, The Paraplegics.
The mixtape features 11 brand new cuts from the North Carolina natives, including reader-acclaimed leaks “Blow” and “So Long.”
In addition to an appearance by the full Lazaretto Crew, Paraplegics features guest contributions from Thee Tom Hardy, Carlitta Durand, Troy, Tab One and Charlie Smarts.

fav track: the light...man, where u guys been hiding the commish? the guy's my new fav producer...very laid back tracks (even a nickelus f citing - btw 'season premiere' was dope) mez's voice is more baritone than say a 810 or black sunn, where their voice is so deep that it actually kinda goes against them on the track...can't wait to hear more from this guy in the future!!

Really digging the smooth production on this mixtape. Commish is legit. Some solid stuff from Mez on this album, too. His flow got a little tired sounding at times, though, like he was holding back a lot (namely on "The Stars").
Also, could do without the chipmunked vocals to open the album. |

This tape gives off a classic hip hop vibe coupled with great lyrics. The smooth sound of every song is easy to vibe to; you could just turn this on in your ipod and chill... definitely worth listening to.
