Miami emcee J. NiCS and Ft. Lauderdale beatsmith Numonics have joined forces with DJBooth.net, Last Rights and 2DopeBoyz to bring fans a new collaborative EP, Champion Rizla.
The highly-anticipated project finds NiCS showcasing his baritone flows over soul-inspired production stylings in eight brand new tracks produced by Numonics. Included are Booth-premiered leaks “Slumber”’ and “Road to Riches.”
Mixed and mastered by Wrekonize and Plex Luthor of ¡MAYDAY!, and recorded by Sean Buck, Rizla features a guest appearance by fellow Floridian up-and-comer Phresh James and ShowOff Records’ REKS.

 Great decision by NiCS to work exclusively with Numonics on this release. The cohesion from start to finish is undeniable and the EP has the feel of a soundtrack and not just some random collection of songs.

I listened to the whole thing from start to finish. I was very impressed by J Nics ability to really craft such solid material. Although I wasn't the biggest fan of all the tracks, Nics deserves praise for his skills on the mic and Numonics delivered on every track. Solid tape. 3.5 for me.

J. NiCs has really grrown on me over time. I have laerned to really like his work. "Slumber" really caught me in. I love that sh!t.
