Northeastern buzzmaker Gilbere Forte’ has joined forces with DJBooth.net and SocietySOP to bring fans his latest street release, Philadelphia Freshman.
Hosted by Ace McClowd, the project is a collection of old, new and previously-unreleased material intended to bring listeners up to speed on the artist’s work to date. Included are previously-featured, Booth-approved cuts “Push the Bar” and “Please Don’t Worry,” as well as his exclusive freestyle series contribution, “Buttons.”
Joining Forte’ throughout Freshman are Raak, STS, Ab-Liva and iCan (of ¥.€.$. Movement), Selina Carrera, Bump and NittyScott.MC. Beats come courtesy of Raak & Forte’, Bengie, Beewirks, Kidnap and Ransom.

Classic shit. Gilbere Forte in my mind should be on the next cover of XXL Mag. Maybe he should have been on this one with big Krit and his home town homie Meek Mills. He definitely have next.

Gilbere Forte FLAT OUT FLOWIN ON EVERY SONG!!!! Its rich with lyrical vibez. Especially the freestyles.......too bad a few of the freestyle just ends with a stop and not a fading stop but still good......
