Orlando-based production duo Oddz.N.Endz (the team behind Slim’s “So Fly” and the Birdman/Jay Sean collabo “Written On Her,”) proudly present the flagship artist on their new label imprint Another One Records, Evan Roberts.
Roberts first offering, an EP entitled Outta Hear, combines real life struggles, heart break and the frustrations of trying to succeed. In an attempt to showcase his solo skills, guest appearances were kept to a minimum (Cory Gunz, DJ Khaled, and Ya Boy), while producer Matthew “Starkiller” Walker, whose stadium sound production and extensive rock background prove to be a perfect complement to the neo-urban sound of Justin “Jay Houston” Harris and Nick “Nino” Lazzeri, handles the majority of production (10 out of 13 tracks).
The EP will be accompanied by two videos, the first for lead single “Golden” and the second for standout EP inclusion, “Find Myself With You.”

After a few listens I do not know what specific genre to place Evan Roberts music in. It is too futuristic sounding and electric for me to consider it a straight hip-hop/rock mix. Whatever you want to call this music, I am still very impressed especially considering this is the first time hearing him. This project is definitely a breath of fresh air from the other pop out there. Great beats throughout, perfect blending of several genres and amazing energy! Don't sleep, give this a listen

Yeah this guy is pretty talented and StarKiller's production was great throughout the EP. Like some of you guys mentioned, he does have a futuristic sound and I think he has the talent to find a nice niche in the music industry.

This is an AMAZING CD! This is goin to be bangin in my car for awhile! Why can't more artists do it like this guy. I can't wait to hear more stuff from him! Rock and Hip Hop mix is pefect! the guy can sing and rap...thats deadly! He def has some radio hits on there as well. Hope to hear more from you dude!

I downloaded this and thought they're good tracks.
They have a smooth sound and a nice funky electro-beat. Roberts looks like one to stay tuned with to me. I like his sound. |

Not much needs to be said. Wow, amazing and unique are three word i would use to get you to download this tape, dont skip any tracks, but be ready for "Don't Wanna Hear", if it doesnt blow your mind: consider suicide... All in all though the album is so amazing because of its unique approach to hip hop in the fact that almost all the tracks are rock/pop influenced and based. I would say that this is the kind of stuff that hip hop needs to remain alive and well, very refreshing to hear.

I have had the pleasure and honor of having Evan Roberts which i consider my brother from another mother to colab with me in most of the songs for my upcoming rock/hip hop project called "Impaired Enough" and he made the album what it is. Release Date of my album is Sep 15th.....look out for the this album Rafayel and Evan made a killing...Tour dates coming soon....
