Harlem rhymesayer ESSO has come together with The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest street release, the Son of SAMO EP.
The project features eight original tracks from the up-and-coming emcee, including previously-leaked, reader-approved joints “Ready” and “F*ck It All.”
ESSO flies solo throughout Son of SAMO, which features beats by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Jonathan Stein, Mike Mef, The Therapeuticz and VHVL.

 i think stuff like this is when Esso is at his best (i'm not really a fan of his "crossover" type of stuff). the sincerity on this project is very tangible, which is very important to me. however, the quality of the vocal mixing is a bit shoddy to say the least, but that aside, i fux wit it.
