DJ Burn One - Are You Listening?

DJBooth.net has hooked up with DJ Burn One to give readers a taste of what to expect from this week’s Are You Listening? showcase (going down October 21, at L.E.S.’ Sapphire Lounge), in the form of a brand new preview mixtape.

The 21-track project compiles brand new/exclusive/unreleased records from all of the artists taking part in the Platform One/Vicarious Music/DJBooth.net-sponsored CMJ showcase, including headliner Emilio Rojas’ Yelawolf-assisted “Turn It Up” as well as reader-approved cuts by Sapient (”Universal Diorama”), the FameCity Boiz (”Give You More”) and The ILLZ (”Cover Me (I’m Going In)”).

Also featured on the project (and scheduled to perform Thursday night) are Laws, Phil Adé, Aleon Craft, The Kickdrums, Johnny Spanish, Neako, Sapient, J The S, Jon Hope, Intuition, Evil Ebenezer and The Chickarones.
