Big Apple duo Da YoungFellaz have come together with The DJBooth, New Rich Entertainment and Disco Pinata Records to bring listeners their latest digital release, The Underclassmen EP.
The project features nine original records from emcees Jay Storm and Sho-Biz, including reader-approved leaks “Last Forever,” “Real Deal” and “Represent.”
Joining Da YoungFellaz on the guest tip throughout The Underclassmen are KQuick, Devo-D, L. Michele, Talib Kweli, and Phil Da Agony. Beats come courtesy of Norway’s Ralph Myerz and Virginia’s Bravestarr.

 I have to say, Talib Kweli was the reason that this group of tracks gathered my attention, and I must say, there's certainly a particular aspect of these guys that I like, but at times The YoungFellaz sound too lackadaisical, I feel like the track "Sky High" isn't really going anywhere. Granted, some of the lines on "Cruisin" set me in that mood, I'm just not sure that a project like this is going anywhere. Granted, this is certainly a strong piece of music, just not something that will be everlasting.
