Up-and-coming singer/songwriter/producer D1 has come together with The DJBooth to bring listeners his latest digital release, the Soul Blue LP.
Executive Produced by D1 himself, the project features 14 original records from the Ohio-to-N.Y. transplant, including previously-featured leaks “Far From an Angel,” “So Far Away” and “Rehab.”
Joining D1 throughout Soul Blue are Elite and Voli. In addition to beats by the artist himself, the project features co-production by Voli and LX. Jorge Gavidia provides guest guitar throughout.

I've really been looking forward to this project. One of the most honest releases in a long time. He puts his heart out there and with topics most of us can relate to. Production is soulful and blues and perfectly compliments the lyrics.

You can tell how much work went into this project just by listening to the complexity of the tracks... I appreciate when musicians take their time and really invest a meaningful portion of their life to create realistic art. It adds the meaning and depth that I think is missing in a lot of releases being pushed today.
