Milwaukee duo The Cranberry Show have come together with The DJBooth and Donutsandmilk.com to bring listeners their sophomore street release, Paranormal Karaoke.
The follow-up to 2010’s Sex and Pencil Shavings, the project features 10 brand new records from Young Focus and Arcane, including previously-leaked, reader-acclaimed cut “Traffic Lights.”
Joining The Cranberry Show on the guest tip throughout Paranormal Karaoke are Klassik, KimberLee, Mario Lanza (of Up North Band), Gerald Walker and Jenise Virtuoso. Production comes courtesy of Smash Boiz, Klassik, Plaga and Dylan Thomas.

You will rarely see me throw out the 5 Star Rating, only albums that have truly challenged the current status of the game are worthy of the classic rating. (see MBDTF, Watch The Throne, The Cool, Return of 4Eva) I've got my eyes on The Cranberry Show, these guys can do greatness with this innovative style. Paranormal Karaoke, I mean the creativity here is incredible, and the flows of these two could make the Midwest scream for insanity.

Not gonna lie first dudes voice (dont kno who is who) on the 1st track almost had me turn it off but fortunately that voice aint the whole song. once i got over that and and listened to the whole tape i was glad i continued on. dont know how to classify this type of music but i like it. just wish the one dudes voice wasnt so annoying if thats fair to say.

The production is on point.....Be nice to add some sample joints (Al Green, Miles Davis snippets). Out of five mics I would rate this album a 5.
It's not mainstream but it's not far left either........again, some sample tracks over the style of rap would make this album Hennessy approved! Hennessy Mike |
