A message from Big K.R.I.T. himself:

I am proud to present Return Of 4eva to all my supporters. I took the past year to work on this project.

I reached out to some of my favorite artists that I felt represented what this album was about, including Ludacris, Bun B, David Banner, Chamillionaire, Big Sant, Joi and Raheem Devaughn.

[They] helped me to make my vision of this album complete. I hope you all love it.

Download the project via K.R.I.T’s new website, here.

Classic.

Just like the first one.

Keep it simple.

KRIT is the BEST artist in the South right now and possibly the best artist to come on the scene since Drake has had his influence and is on the way to solidifying himself as one of the best rappers of all time.

Who else is releasing this caliber of content this consistently?

No. One.

(maybe Dom Kennedy...lol...but his time is coming soon)

I don't want to sound like some kind of Hype-Man, but I have been waiting for this drop for a hot minute. iCalendar been alerting off the hook. K.R.I.T. has taken over the South, without a doubt. We've been waiting for artist of this caliber for awhile. I loved how well his video for "dreamin'" matched the song. I'll continue to follow faithfully, put K.R.I.T. in my best wishes and watch as he escalates. Download this mixtape and bang it out your speakers in your vehicle the next day.

I had to make 1 more comment, Track 18: "Another Naive Individual Glorifying Greed and Encouraging Racism" is competing with some 2pac tracks.

This is one of the greatest albums in HIP HOP HIstory! I debated it over and over again! Analyzing myself thinking that I'm over reacting to a great album, but the more I listen to it the more I can't seem to shake it! Fact is, I can't stop listening to it! Enough said! CLASSIC Only song I don't listen to is Shake it! Thats it! The rest of um, I'm pretty much in love wit!
Top 5 no order whatsoever
1The Vent
2American Rapstar
3Lions and Lambs
4Another Naive Individual Glorifying Greed and Ecouraging Racism
5Rotation

He really took his time with this, i felt it from beginning to the end. That one week delay was probably for the better.

I can ride solo to "the vent". This kat goes deep. Small hints of the whole DF crew in Atlanta.
Keep it up!

Hopefully folks are coppin' the official retail EP version of this: R4 the Prequel. I wish he woulda made the EP an actual LP though and added "Get Right," "Rotation," "American Rapstar," etc to the tracklist. This dude is making albums masquerading as mixtapes and it's about time Def Jam starts letting him at least get some scans for all that hard work.

I am really late to listen to this incredible mixtape. Like many above have said, this should be considered an album. Now one of my favorite hip-hop works of all time. Just classic. Ridiculously good listen. Wow. Do I seem too excited about it? No, it's that good.
